Configure Wireless Settings

Follow the steps below to configure the wireless settings of your Set Top Box to connect to your home network.  The wireless configurations are only available on our newer Set Top Box.

1. Press System button on the remote control.
   
   Login screen is displayed.

   
   
   Enter this password on the second line:  123456
   
   Select OK to continue.

2. System Settings screen is displayed.

   

   
   Select Network Settings and press Enter.

3. Network Settings screen is displayed.

   

   Select Connection and press Enter.

4. LAN settings screen is displayed.

   

   Press Right on the remote once to change LAN to WiFi/WLAN.
   Press Down on the remote once to select OK and press Enter.
   

5. Network Connections Wireless screen is displayed.

   

   Select WiFi/WLAN Network Name and press Enter.
   
   Enter then name of your wireless network or press the RED button above the 1 button on the remote to scan for your network name.  Press OK when done to get back to the wireless settings screen.
   
   Select WiFi/WLAN Security Mode.  Press Right button to select WPA-PSK-KTIP.  Press OK when done.
   
   Select WiFi/WLAN Key.  Press the RED button above the 1 button on the remote to enter your wireless password.  Press OK when done.
   
   Now the Network Settings screen should display again.  Select OK.
   
   The Systems Settings screen is displayed.

6. Reboot your Set Top Box by powering it off then on again. 
   
   The System - Enter Setup screen should show your wireless settings.  Your set top box should obtain an IP address successfully.
   
   A list of Hmong TV Network channels will be displayed.
